Shelton: <br />This letter is to clarify several items in our letter of October 31, <br />1980. <br />In "Item No. 6 Issue - Iscription of Screening Mounds", the last sentenre <br />states, "...the river bank in and tl~ buffer east of Stage I the elevation <br />will be maintained at 4821...". This sentenco should read as follows: <br />"In the case of the river bank of Stage I the elevation will be :maintained <br />at 4821, according to information supplied by the Colorado Water Conservation <br />Board, and the buffer east of Stage I will be maintained at existing <br />elevations". "Item No. 7 Issue -Shape and Construction of Proposed Ponds", <br />at the end of the paragraph add the following sentenco, "If there is any <br />doubt about the stability of the proposed pond dividers comg~osed of screenings, <br />the County will commit to leave the dividers as undisturbed material pending <br />completion of the first divider to be constructed of over burden and screening <br />material to demonstrate the feasibility of the latter". <br />r <br />"Item No. 1 Issue -Indication of Manmade Strictures on Vicinity Map", add <br />the following sentenco at the end of the paragraph, "As soon as the land is <br />purchased the lease with the trailer on it will be vacated and the trailer <br />will be rerroved from the property. All other buildings on the property will <br />be scheduled for derralition as soon as the property is purchased. The sa~re <br />50 foot barrier that we have specified around the perimeter of the affected <br />area will be maintained around the site of the oil well and the tanks. Complete <br />access to and from this site will also be provided to the owner of the oil well <br />via the existing road into the site." <br />"Item No. 11 Issue -Location and )~ctent of Natural Vegetation", delete the <br />last sentenco of this paragraph and substitute therefore, "See attached letter <br />from the Soil Conservation Service, dated October 29, 1980 describing existing <br />vegetation." <br />
