Known Cultural Resources <br />In the project area: <br />in the general region; Overviews of the prehistory and history of tbe region are provided in documents <br />published by the Colorado Couceil of Professional Archaeologists' entitled "Colorado Prehistory: A <br />Context for the Northern Colorado Plateau" (Reed and Metcalf 1999). and by the Colorado Historical <br />Society entitled "Colorado Plateau Cou~rv Historic Context" (Husband 19841. <br />26.
