Changes to the facility were
initiated following a technical revision approved by Colorado Mined Lund
Reclamatlon'Divlu.ton Lt Sr.ptcmber 19114. These changes Sncl.udud a mal.lgnment
and diversion of r_pbemr:r•tL drtin:y;e waCeC no[[h of the mine and other
diversions of surface runoff water away from dfstucbud mining urcau and around
the 111 punrl, and ellmiuatlon of the /12 pond. Thus discharge point 001, which
previously contained mina watuc and surface runoff water, will now usually
involve only uurf:u e runoff water from pond 81. Discharge puLnt 004 will be
the direct disrharge of mine water into Ilubbard Crock without utilizing any
settling ponds.
Water which will enter pond 111 during most occasion:: is surface runoff water
from yard drainage areas and disturbed areas.
