Regions <br />4, b, and 6 had 15 of the top 20 moat-expensive BAER <br />efforts. Region 4 had four of the top five most costly <br />BAER efforts. The Rabbit Creek, Foothills, and <br />Lowman Fires on the Boise National Forest in Idaho <br />involved National Forest System BAER spending of <br />$8.4, $8.2 and $3.2 million, respectively (table 9). Costa per <br />acre (ha) were higher for Regions 4, 6, and 5 than <br />Regions 1, 2, and 3.
