Site Assessment Experience
' Mr. Faliskie, an environmental geologist, has extensive experience managing and implementing
hydrogeologic site investigations and remediation activities at a wide variety of non-ha~~rrlrn,c
and hazardous waste sites. He also has experience performing numerous Phase I, II, and III
' environmental property audits for financial instirutions, industrial concerns, municipalities, and
land developers.
' Sites investigated include petroleum bulk terminals, underground storage tanks (USTs), natural
gas processing plants, pipelines, oil and gas well production sites, wood treatment plants, mines,
' manufacturing sites, landfills, and RCRA, TSCA, and CERCI:.A sites. These sites have been
impacted by mercury, heavy metals, chlorinated solvents (DNAPI.S), PCBs, leaded and unleaded
gasoline, diesel fuel, jet fuel, used oil, crude oil, solvents, acids and bases, and various other
' organic constituents
Site characterization involved the drilling and installation of monitor wells and the characteriza-
' tion of sites with regard to geology, hydrology, and chemistry. This included the implementa-
tion and analysis of aquifer tests including slug and pump tesu, and characterization of saturated
and unsaturated soil in order to design effective groundwater air spazging, pump and treat, and
' soil vapor extraction (SVE) systems.
Mr. Faliskie managed and implemented remedial action at numerous sites. He wrote several
' remedial and corrective action plans at sites impacted by petroleum hydrocazbons. These
documents integrated site characterization data, regulatory requirements, risk-based assessments,
and remedial technology in the design and implementation of remedial systems. Remedial
' methodologies which Mr. Faliskie worked with include groundwater pump and treat,
groundwater air spazging, soil vapor extraction (SVE), bioremediation, landfarming, free product
' recovery, and soil excavation and disposal. In support of these activities, Mr. Faliskie has
obtained local, state, and federal permits, and negotiated with local, state, and federal regulators.
