Record the volume of water removed, pH, temperature, and conductivity for <br />each well volume. <br />Purging by Pump <br />For Purging of webs by pups, all procedures regarding decontatnination~ and <br />measurement and recording of data wt7! apply. <br />' Sample Collection <br />' The following procedure wr11 be ut~ized to obtain liquid for samples from properly <br /> purged monitor wells: <br />' I. Place sample containers neaz the well to be sampled <br /> 2 Obtain a new pair of latex or nitnle gloves. <br />' <br /> 3. Obtain either a properly decontaminated sampling batter or disposable sample <br />' bailer. <br /> 4. Attach a new rope to the bat7er and to a surface object <br />i 5. Gently lower the batter into the well, and allow to ft11, minimiang agitation of <br /> the liquid within the well <br />' 6. Do not allow the bat7er or the rope to come into contact with the ground or <br /> other possible sources of contamination. <br />' <br /> 7. Gently fill VOA vials by pouring or transferring the water via stopooclr. At <br /> no time should the surface of the interior of the VOA bottles or cap come <br /> into contact with arty other surface. <br />8. Fill the VOA vials until a meniscus is formed at the top of the vial Cap the <br />bottle, and invert the container and tap on the vial to check for entrapped air. <br />If any noticeable air is contained in the VOA, the ft~m' g and capping <br />' procedure should be repeated anal anair-free sample is obtained. <br />9.
