.~~

LOCATION AND MISCELLANEOIIS
The entire area within the heavy outer line is owned by
the pit applicants, Joseph and Arlene Cogan (Tenants in
Common).
The road to the top of the proposed pit was mistakenly
graded by a lost public employee who thought it was the Bald
Mountain Gulch road near Ruby Mountain. The jeep trail is
access to public ground south and east of our property.
Neither ~~road~~ is public property. We allow hunters,
hikers, etc. access across our land for proper game harvest
necessary for our survival as ranchers.
Mining will begin with cell one and will progress numeri-
tally through cell 8.
Material will be removed to the size of one square acre
about 20~ deep and reclamation shaping will be done approxi-
mately one cell behind the mining.
(se)
Total acreage is 9.9 acres or 431,244 feet.
Total length is 1672 feet.
Total width is 257 feet.
Total proposed pit area 9.9 acres or 431244 square feet.
Steel posts are set at corners of each of 8 one acre
tracts.
Posts are to keep operators in line and leave enough
area to slope banks so total pit area including sloped area
is 9.9 acres.
Pit must follow the flood channel to prevent floods from
spreading on the neighboring lands. Pit will enhance the
flood flow by providing a deeper, larger flood channel and
will deliver flood waters to the old channel at southwest end
of pit.
Segments of 1 acre each will be excavated in numerical
order 1 through 8.
