Box 449 <br />Florence, CO 81226 <br />RE: 2nd - 4th Quarter 2000 Sediment Pond Inspection Reports <br />Raton Creek Mine, Permit No. C-82-055 <br />Mr. Weaver: <br />The Division of Minerals and Geology has completed review of the 2"d 3Ed and 41h <br />quarter sediment pond inspection reports for the year 2000 for the Raton Creek mine, <br />#C-82-055. <br />The inspection reports demonstrate compliance with Rule 4.05.6(13) for sediment <br />ponds. Observations are consistent with field observations noted during Division <br />inspections periodically throughout the year. <br />We have no further questions or comments at this time.
