J <br /> <br /> <br />z <br />Additionally, under Part II Section B. of the Permit, the <br />Permittee was to properly plug and abandon well 20-1 prior to <br />commencing injection. On September 28, 2000, you submitted <br />information to the Director that well 20-1 had been properly <br />plugged and abandoned. EPA has reviewed that information and has <br />determined that the Permit requirement to plug and abandon well <br />20-1 has been adequately met. <br />All information required by the Permit prior to commencing <br />injection, including additional water quality baseline monitoring <br />data, has been submitted to the Director, and has been reviewed <br />and approved by the EPA. American Soda, L.L.P. has complied with <br />all pertinent conditions of Part II Sections B and C.1. of the <br />Permit. Therefore, effective upon your receipt of this letter, <br />Administrative approval is hereby Granted for infection into Well <br />No. 29-27 under conditions of EPA Area Permit No. CO3858-00000. <br />As of this approval, responsibility for permit compliance <br />and enforcement is transferred to the Region VIII UIC Technical <br />Enforcement Program office.
