• encountered, indicates the prinei ple composition of the seed mix used in reseeding. Other <br />species observed included squirreltai 1, western wheatgrass and native and Kentucky <br />bluegrass. Numerous weedy species including gumweed, thistle (Cirsium species) and <br />knotweed (POlvgonum sp.) were present. Livestock grazing has been heavy in this type. <br />DHG - Reveget ated Hayden Gulch Disturbances. All revegeteted disturbances associated with <br />construction of the loedout faci Li ty, rail loop end rail spur (70.8 acres) ere included in <br />this type. The loedout facilities end access road to the southwest are not included. 46th <br />the exception of the railroad ballast, all areas have been revegeteted with a permanent <br />stabilization mix. Species observed in the revegeteted areas include intermediate <br />wheatgrass, Russian wildrye (Elymus iunceus), crested wheatgrass, western wheatgras s, <br />slender wheatgrass, timothy, alfalfa (Medicago saliva) and yellow sweetclover (Melitotus <br />ofticinale). Yeedy species common in the reseeded cropland areas are also present in the <br />revegeteted areas. This type has also been heavily grazed. <br />FHG - Nevden Gulch Loadout Facilities. All loedout facilities and access roads, excluding <br />the rail loop and spur, ere included in this area (17.8 acres). Areas not under roads, <br />• structures or stockpiles have been seeded with a temporary stabilization seed mix similar <br />to that used in the DHG type. <br />TS - Topsoil Stockpiles 1-3. Two topsoil stockpiles are located within the rail loop and <br />one is located along the access road southwest of the loedout area. All stockpiles have <br />been seeded with a mix similar to that used in the DHG type. The stockpiles ere stable and <br />have no erosional problems. Total area under stockpile is 6.1 acres. <br />Other Ceteaories Remaining portions of the permit area include sediment ponds (PS 1.2 <br />acres), County end U.S. roads (RD - 7.2 acres) and the Walker Ditch. <br />• <br />5 Revised 03/01/93 <br />
