In her letter dated 12/9/97, she stated that 4 weeks of the crusher in operation
would minimize [he amount of detrimental impact the operation would have on the surrounding
wildlife. 71te DOW states that there are no significant environmental or wildlife impacts from the
proposed gravel operation.
The Anderson's objection letter dated September 21, 1998 states that a new wildlife impact statement
is needed because the actual period of time approved for the crusher is set at 50 days/ per year or 10
weeks. Ms. Miller stated that the 50 days/year or 10-weeks vs. 4 weeks would not change the
recommendations stated in her letter or requve a new wildlife impact statement.
10/28/98 Confidential
