(HGTI), enclosed, please find a c of the 1996 <br />4th Quarter and 1997 1st Quarter Pond Inspection Repotts for th Rail Loop Pon 002A) <br />at HGTI's, Hayden Gulch Loadout facility, Permit No. C-92-081. As you are aware, HGTI <br />is concerned with the existing, required storage capacity for the Rail Loop Pond and is in [he <br />process of updating the permit to reflect the current storage requirements conditions. HGTI <br />is providing you with a copy of these repotts so that your Eiles will show that the pond was <br />indeed inspected during bo[h [he 4[h quarter of 1996 and dte 1st quitter of 1997. Once the <br />permit has been revised to reflect the current storage requirement conditions, d7en HGTI <br />will resubmit a professional engineer's cettified pond inspection report. <br />Please note that the pond inspection form includes a sediment observation. Conditions were <br />normal and no problems were observed. The pond was disch;trging and an NPDES sample <br />was collected.
