These rights ate sumrrrari7ed in Table G-10.
A detailed description of the water rights location was not always stated in the files, so it is difficult
to determine which of the rights are on or adjaoerrt to the project. The following water rights however,
are on or near the proposed pn~ject:
Lowy Bullock Ditch,
Upper Bullock Ditch,
l~utlet Ditch and PL.,
• Longmont Well No. 4,
Martin Marietta Cem Lake,
Orth Seepage Ditch,
Weese Ditch,
Highland Ditch,
Stamp Drain Lane 5,
Orth Pipeline, and
Ortlr Res. No.7.
The water rights listed in Table G-10 are primarily surface water. Ground water is aocexsed by the
Longmont Wells. The Colorado Division of Water Resounxs data did not provide a listing of the
aquifer accessed by these wells.
Figure G-10 presents the location of well permits and irrigation ditches within a one mile perirtreter
of the project site. With the exception of the monitoring wells on site, there ate no other well permits
within the boundary of the proposed mining operation. The majority of wells are located north and
south of the site and ate used for domestic purposes or as monitoring wells for the Syntex Chemicals
site north of the project area. There ate a total of 157 well permits in Secxion four where the Syntex
• site is located.
