RECEIVE® <br />APR 1 8 2006 <br />Division of Minerals and Goelogy <br />Public Notice <br />Chevron Shale Oil Company, 11111 South Wilcrest, Houston, TX, 77099, has filed an <br />application for a Construction Materials Limited Impact (110) Reclamation Permit with the <br />Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board under provisions with the Colorado Mined Land <br />Reclamation Act for extraction of construction materials. The proposed mine is known as the <br />South Clear Creek Construction Materials Mine, and is located in or near A portion of the <br />SW 1/4SW 1/4 of Section 36, and a portion of the NEl/4NW 1/4 of section 4, Townships 5 & 6 <br />South, Range 98 West, of the 6~` P.M, Ga~eld County, Colorado, containing 8 acres more or <br />less. <br />The proposed date of commencement is June 2006 and the proposed date of completion is 2016. <br />Additional information and a tentative decision date may be obtained at the Division of Minerals <br />and Geology, 1313 Sherman Street, Room 215, Denver, Colorado, 80203, (303) 866-3567, or at <br />the office of Garfield County Building and Planning, 109 8`~ Street Suite 400, Glenwood <br />Springs, Colorado 81601. <br />Written Comments to the application must be received at the office of the Mined Land <br />Reclamation Division no later than 4:00 pm on the th day of , 2006 <br />Contact: <br />Cordilleras Compliance Services, Inc. <br />826 21-1/2 Road. <br />Grand Junction, CO 81505 <br />Representing: <br />Chevron Shale Oil Company, a division of Chevron U.S.A.
