C~
3.0 Quality Assurance/Quality Control Data
Data presented in this section includes results of duplicates, rinsate samples,
and water blanks collected in association with the groundwater monitoring during
the reporting period. Equipment used during sample collection in July required
rinse samples from the bailer used for sample collection. ' In the remaining three
months of the report period, all wells were equipped with dedicated nitrogen gas
displacement pumps. Dedicated, disposable, glass fiber, 0.45-µM filters were
used to filter all dissolved constituents each month.
A number of observations are typically recorded during sample collection. A
sampling form was developed to record all of these observations. An example of
this form is included in this section. Sample sets were tested for pH and kept on
• ice from the time of collection. Proper chain-of-custody forms accompanied each
sample set. Samples were hand delivered to the laboratory within the holding
time for all constituents. Included in this section is also an example form used to
request specific analysis from the laboratory that also contains chain-of-custody
information.
