CO 80222-1530 <br />RE: PERMIT CO-0027154: MARCH 2000 DMR SUBMITTAL <br />Dear Ms. Lenkey: <br />RECE~~ED <br />MAY O1 2000 <br />division of Minerals & Geo(aJY <br />iiiiiiiiiiiiiiuiii <br />999 <br />Please find enclosed the above referenced discharge monitoring report for the period March 1, 2000 through March 31,2000. <br />During the period only ponds A (point 001), B (point 003), D (point 005), E (point 006) and F (point 007) discharged to Foidel <br />Creek. No permit excursions were noted for this period. Pond D only discharged once during the month, as reflected on the <br />DMR. <br />Quarterly Whole Effluent Toxicity (WET) tests were conducted on Outtall 001 the week of February 14, 2000, and on Outfalls <br />005 and 007 the week of March 27, 2000. Outfalls 005 and 007 passed for both species, with "Concentrations with Statistically <br />significant Difference in Lethality" reported at >100°/ . Outfall 001 failed for both species, with the concentrations reported at <br />75%. Copies of the CDPS WET Test Report Forms for these tests are included with this submittal. No accelerated testing will <br />be performed at Outfall 001 as per the letter dated 4/13/98 addressed to Joe Shoemaker (TCC) from Cada Lenkey (Water <br />Quality Control Division). <br />Outtalls 001, 005 and 007 are being tested for Hardness in addition to the required parameters, however, 007 was omitted for <br />this period.. A copy of those results is included in this submittal. <br />Outfalls 002, 004, 008, and 009 did not discharge during this period. Outfall 020 has not been constructed yet; therefore, there <br />is no discharge to enable chemical or toxicological testing to date. Points 010, 016 and 017 have been eliminated from this <br />permit. In order to reduce the amount of paper work, the following certification will be substituted Tor the actual DMR forms to <br />cover the outfalls which did not discharge. <br />CERTIFICATION <br />I certify under penalty o! law that I have personally examined and am familiar with the in/ormation submitted herein; and <br />based on my inquiry o/those individuals responsible for obtaining the information, I believe the submitted in/ormation is <br />true, accurate, and complete. I am aware that there are significant penalties for submitting /alse information, including the <br />possibility o/line and imprisonment. See 18 U.S.C. § 1001 and 33 U.S.C. § 1319.
