to inform counties and certain municipalities of Development and Extraction
Permit applications filed with this office, please knoca that John R.
(Qallette has filed to conduct Open pit gold mining
at Sec. 5 T11S R80W
The applicant proposes to reclaim the site for deer/elk winter range The
deadline for persons to file statements regarding this operation, or to
petition for a hearing before the Ptined Land Reclamation Board to consider
the granting of a Permit is set by Law; for infor:na[ion please call this
office.

71-e applicant is obligated to sho*.a that the proposed mining and reclar..ation
plans are in conformance with local zoning ordinances, subdivision regulations,
of master plan, and is further required to place a copy of the application
for public inspection with the Clerk of the county in which the proposed
mine is situated. It is the Board's understanding that the Act intends for
the application to be made available for public review and comment in an
area close to the mine; it is not intended that it be made a part of public
record by recording.
The Board is tentatively scheduled to consider this application on
February 23-24, 1983
