In looking through the mines permitted I noticed that
no miniu~g or reclamation permit has been issued to the best of my knowledge, and
that sand is being hauled out of this location late at night. In addition to the
sand being dugout this leaves a question as to the affect this has on the water table
if ground water is being exposed. According to the information on this property, that
a company named Jones Fine Sand is the party that is digging and hauling the sand to
another location in Camierce City area.
I would appreciate you looking into this, since water is a valuable resource
and that: the restoration of the creek and it's surrounding will be restored and
perserved for many years to cane.
Sincerely,
Debra Ccx
CC: Division of Water Resources -State of Engineers
