Lamber9 FROM: FREMONT COUNTY PLANNING DEPARTMENT DATE: November 4, 1977 REFERENCE: PUBLIC HEARING REQUIREMENTS Dear Mr. Lamber9(s): This is to inform you that the County Commissioners have set DECEMBER 5, 1977 as the public hearing date for the issuance of a SPECIAL USE PERMIT TO STRIP MINE BETONITE BY GLEN & W.D. LAMBERG , The hearing will be held at 4:3U 1'.M. in the County Commis- sioners Meeting Room, in the Fremont County Courthouse. Prior to the public hearing, it will be required, by the applicant or his representative(s), to advertise in the following manner: ••'° 1. At least fifteen (15) days prior to the date of hearing, notice by a registered letter to all property owners, as shown by the last ~ preceeding tax roll, both within the boundary of the proposed change and to all property owners within 500' of the boundaries of pro- posed amendment and details of proposed amend- ment, including full titles of existing and proposed zone; or 2. A posted notice at least 3' x 4' in size, with each letter at least 2" in height, be posted continously for at least thirty (30) days prior to the hearing and located on the parcel pro- posed for change. Such posting shall be no further than 15' from the public right-of-way, providing access to the parcel, except where more than one parcel is involved and/or more than one public right-of-way provides access, all parcels and/or sides facing any public right-of-way shall be so posted. All postings shall be so placed upon the parcel to provide for clear and un-obstructed viewing from the public right-of-way. The lettering should be black on white. The following is an example of what is required on the sign(s):
