Phases of Excavation
PHASE
Excavation of the private river access road will begin by establishing a 12 ft face and
moving it from south to north. Processing 40,000 ton the first winter season will affect
two acres. Topsoil piles established will be seeded the first season.
PHASE II
Processing 40,000 ton the 2"d winter season will complete the first bench of excavation
and begin the second bench extraction for the private access road.
PHASE III
The third season excavation will lower the access road to the existing irrigation bench
and allow final dressing of the 3 to I slopes. This will allow the relocation of 150'
lineal foot of (piped) irrigation ditch to the east.
Phase IV
The last phase of construction will involve the final stabilization of slopes. The access
road will be covered with road base and compacted. The onsite depression areas will be
established to act as a detention basin. Topsoil placement and landscaping to include
seeding will occur the first growing season after establishment of final contours is
complete.
