Please reference claim <br />names and serial numbers in all future correspondence and annual filing documents. <br />CLAIM NAMES <br />J. Bird nos. 1-7 <br />BLM SERIAL NUMBERS <br />CMC-253248-253254 <br />(All claim names and serial numbers are in sequential/numerical order.) <br />Pursuant to Colorado law, the owner of an unpatented mining claim shall file a notice or certificate <br />of location with the county in which the claim is located. Federal law requires that a mining <br />claimant must follow the requirements of state and local customs when locating a mining claim <br />(43 CFR 3831.1 and 43 CFR 3841.4-6). <br />This notice does not address the issue of whether the claimant has complied with all the terms <br />and conditions of the mining laws and regulations. The Interior Board of Land Appeals has ruled <br />that the public is responsible for knowing the status of the public lands as shown on the officio! <br />records. Locators of mining claims are responsible for determining the status of the land <br />embraced by the claims, and the limdations upon their rights, as the holders of unpatented <br />CL^_'.'^S.
