Please reference Gaim
names and serial numbers in all future correspondence and annual filing documents.
CLAIM NAMES
J. Bird 8 & J. Bird 8A
BLM SERIAL NUMBERS
CMC-253873-253874
(All claim names and serial numbers are in sequentiallnumericel order.)
Pursuant to Colorado law, the owner of an unpatented mining claim shall file a notice or certificate
of location with the county in which the Gaim is located. Federal law requires that a mining
claimant must follow the requirements of state and local customs when locating a mining claim
(43 CFR 3831.1 and 43 CFR 3841.4-8).
This notice does not address the issue of whether the Gaimant has complied with all the terms
and conditions of the mining laws and regulations. The Interior Board of Land Appeals has ruled
that the public is responsible for knowing the status of the public lands as shown on the official
records. Locators of mining Gaims are responsible for determining the status of the land
embraced by the claims, and the limitations upon their rights, as the holders of unpatented
claims. Those who fail to inspect the status of public lands in which they are financially
interested, are negligent at their own risk.
Remember that on or before September 1, 2005, you must pay your maintenance fees or file a
property executed waiver for the year 2006.
If you have any questions, please contact me at (303) 239-3714.
/sJ Ia1RT M.
