SECTION 03320.0 CONCRETE PLUG <br />. PART 1: GENERAL <br />1.01 RELATED SECTIONS: <br />Refer to the following Sections for related work: <br />Section 02200.0 -Earthworks <br />1.02 SUBMITTALS: <br />A. CONTRACTOR shall provide product data to allow evaluation by MANAGER and <br />CERTIFYING ENGINEER. <br />B. CONTRACTOR'S mix desiga for each tentative mix for concrete shall contain the following <br />information: <br />1. <br />2. <br />3. <br />4. <br />5. <br />. 6. <br />7. <br />1.03 TOLERANCES: <br />Slump on which design is based. <br />Total gallons of water per cubic yazd. <br />Brand, type, composition, and quantity ofcement. <br />Specific gravity and gradation of each aggregate. <br />Ratio of fine to total aggregates. <br />Weight (surface dry) of each aggregate per cubic yazd. <br />Time of initial set. <br />Concrete shall be placed to the lines and dimensions shown on the DRAWINGS. <br />1.04 QUALITY ASSURANCE: <br />A. All concrete testing (both field and laboratory testing) will be the responsibility of <br />CONTRACTOR. CONTRACTOR shall be responsible for cooperating with CQA Monitor <br />dtuutg all testing activities. CONTRACTOR shall provide equipment and labor to assist CQA <br />Monitor in sampling, if requested, and shall also provide access to all areas requiring testing <br />activities. <br />B. Any Work found unsatisfactory or any Work disturbed by subsequent operations before <br />acceptance is granted shall be corrected by CONTRACTOR. <br />PART 2: PRODUCTS <br />2.01 MATERIALS: <br />A. Portland Cement, ASTM C I50, Type V. <br />B. Coarse Aggregate, ASTM C 33, except that clay and shale particles shall not exceed I percent of <br />total aggregate. <br />C.
