Mined Land Reclamation
Re: Castle Concrete any
Pikeview Quarry # 77-211
•
• between 2000 and 3000 gallons daily in the screening operation and the pollution
control at the mine. The nature of the reclamation plan is such that no water
is required to sustain plant growth. The vegetation growth will rely on natural
rainfall to obtain required moisture. No water will be required during the
reclamation phase.
D. The water required by this mining operation is purchased contractually
from the City of Colorado Springs. It is obtained from a City fire hydrant
located approximately three (3) miles from the mine. The water is hauled to the
mine in tank trucks by the operator.
E. This mine does not discharge any runoff or wastewater into any stream system,
therefore no NPDES Permit is required.
t~
..., s? {]
,,
~'
~;. ... -
:.;i ~;~`

fir.,-~'~ o~-
Roland G.
