RECLAMATION PLAN (cont) EXHIBIT E
' IBSIG]-TION
No irrigation is planned. The grass mixture is designed to
survive and grow under existing natural conditions.
ifSSD COlPlNOI.
' There is no way to know how serious a problem weeds will become,
but their growth will be monitored carefully each spring for the
rirst couple of years. Weed control will be initiated if the
' problem becomes serious; the weeds will be mowed where possible in
order to avoid chemical damage to grasses.
t RECLAMATION COST ASSDMPTIONS
The mining of two substances from the same lease but from
' different areas will change substantially the maximum area disturbed
at the moment of greatest disturbance. Reclamation costs are estimated
assuming that (1) the greatest area of disturbance that will exist
' during the life of the mine is 45.00 acres ±, (2) no more than
30.00 acres ± will need to be resoiled at any given time, (3) no
' more than 24,200 cubic yards of topsoil will need to be spcead,
(4) no more than 30.00 acres will need to be reseeded and (5) The
' side sloping will be done as mining progresses.
RBCLPiMATION TIMBTABLS
' The reclamation phases listed below may be correlated to Map
Exhibit F. The phases correspond to the mining stages and are
' numbered accordingly. Note that these are estimates only and
variations may occur.
' ESTIMATED RECLAMATION TIMETABLE
Rec.
Phase
Years
Total Estima
Slone R ted Acres +
eclamation
Ditch
1 5 28.75 2.60 26.99 0.00
2 5 25.84 0.56 25.23 0.00
' 3 5 40.96 7.57 32.20 7.11
4 5 46.97 5.22 34.55 6.43
5 5 27.55 1.94 25.28 0.00
6 5 27.35 2.14 24.87 0.00
' 7 5
4
TOTALS 197.42 24.26 19 13.54
'
16 (amended)
