Although no habitat was found in the <br />proposed coal mine portal and wash facility areas and seemingly <br />suitable habitat was found at the disposal site, no plovers were <br />censused. One plover was collected in grassy habitat along the <br />coal transportation corridor to the Bonanza site and four were <br />• sighted in the same area.
