Delta County Whiting Pit <br />DMG 112 Application <br />Exhibit G -Water Information <br />(1) The operation is not expected to directly affect any surface or groundwater systems. <br />(2) The site will be graded to retain stormwater runoff with disturbed azeas or be dischazged to <br />natural drainage within 72 hours after proper filtration. A Stormwater Dischazge Permit will be <br />obtained from the Colorado Depaztment of Health and Environment. <br />(3) The water use by the raining operation will be only for dust wntrol at a maximum of 6000 <br />gallons/day. Mining operations requiring dust control are expected to occur for an average of <br />three months per year. <br />(4) The operator will haul the water needed for dust control to the site with a water truck. Water will <br />come from an approved County source at the district shop or at the Pig Mesa Pit water source, <br />Water Court Case # OSCW 116. <br />(5) There will be no dischazge of process water or water from dewatering. The applicant has applied <br />for a Stormwater Discharge Permit for Sand and Gravel Operations from the Water Quality <br />Control Division at the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment. <br />
