SURFACE WATER SUPPLY
Stream flow records for the Dry Fork Minnesota Creek are sketchy. As part
of the permitting process for the Mt. Gunnison Mine, ARCO COAL COMPANY
installed stream monitoring equipment in June of 1977. Due to the time of
year the equipment was installed, the record is incomplete for 1977.
Based on data collected during the years of 1978, 1979 and 1980 it has been
determined that the mean annual runoff of Dry Fork Minnesota Creek is 1,100
acre-feet.
