iii iiiiiiiiiiiii iii
999
• ~~~
EXHIBIT E
Reclamation Plan
The anticipated past-mining land use will be rangeland. At the
completion of mining all slopes will be graded to no steeper than 4:1
and contoured to reflect the natural terrain of the area. Final grading
will be approved by the Materials Engineer prior to topsoiling of the
area.
Topsoil will be replaced in an even manner over the mined area to
a depth of 6-12", During previous mining (prior to 1973) in the area
marked as "old pit" on the map, topsoil was not- saved for reclamation
use. Therefore sufficient topsoil may not exist to cover all of the
• "old pit" area,
The following fertilization, seeding, and mulching specifications
will be used in reclamation of the affected area.
Rec~art~atiou will occur subsequent to the completion of mining
operations for the proposed construction project. Less than 10 days will
be required for grading, topsoiling, and fertilization, seeding, and
mulching of disturbed areas.
•
