52.05 APPLICATION FOR PERMIT FOR SURFACE OR DNDERGRODND MINING ACTIVITIES --
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR OPERATION AND RECLAMATION PLANS.
2,05.6 Mitiga[ion of Surface Coal Mining Operation Impacts. CCont'd.)
(6) (f) (ii) (C) (III) CWI does not propose reloca-
tion of pipelines, utility
lines, or other features
(refer to Section 2.05.6(6)-
- (f)).
(IV) CWI does not propose reloca-
tion of moveable improvements
to sites outside the angle of
draw (refer to Section 2.05.6-
(6)(6Of)).
(V) A monitoring program designed
to determine the commencement
and degree of subsidence so
that appropriate measures can
be taken to prevent and reduce
material damage is presented
in Section 2.05.6(6)(C).
(iii) A detailed description of mitigation measures
which would be implemented to prevent material
damage or prevent the lessening of value or
diminution of the reasonable foreseeable use
of permit area is located in the Subsidence
Repair Handbook, Volume 3.
(A) Restoration or rehabilitation of struc-
tures to their pre-mining condition are
economically and technologically feasi-
ble. The changes to post mining land
surface contours as described by Geo-
Hydro Consulting, Inc. (Volume 3) are
insignificant to the extent that resto-
ration to pre-mining conditions are un-
necessary.
(b) Structures identified within the permit
area are not expected to become de-
stroyed as a result of subsidence (re-
fer to Section 2.05.6(6)(f)) and CWI
does not propose replacement of any
structures.
Added 12/26/84
Revised 12/26/84
Revised 10/01/87
162
