of safery exceeding the minimum required factor of safety of 1.30. The results of the stability analysis aze shown
and summarized in Appendix A.
LIMITATIONS
This report has been prepazed in accordance with generally accepted soil and foundation engineering practices
in this azea for use by the client for design purposes. The conclusions and recommendations submitted in [his
report are based upon the data obtained from the exploratory test holes drilled at the approximate locations
shown on the site plan. The va[ure and extent of variations between the exploratory boles may not become
evident until [be excavations are completed. If during [he construction, [be soil, rock and grotmdwater
conditions appear to be different From those described herein, a reevaluation of the recommendations should
be made. We recommend [hat the construction of the earth embankments be under the continuous inspection
of a competent soils engineer to insure the appropriate use of the correct soils as well as proper placement and
compaction. Continuous supervision also permits a careful study of the conditions exposed during excavation
and it is possible to recognize underseepage problems not indicated during the field investigation.
It is the responsibility of the owner or his representative to insure that the information in this report is
incorporated into the plans and/or specifications and construction of the project. It is advisable that a
contractor familiar with construction details typically used for the local subsoils and climatic conditions be
retained to build the structure. If you Gave any questions regarding this report or if we may be of further
service, please do not hesit a to contact us.
Sincerely, A
NORTHWEST COLT
H old N.
