It is recommended that the next time sediment is removed
• from the trap that the clastic material be positioned on the
north embankment area in the vicinity of Profile G. The
addition of 0.8 to 1.0 foot of sediment in this area will
increase pond volume to pre-construction design.
The angle of dip of the hillside slope and lateral collector
ditch east of Station E was determined to be 19.5 degrees.
Conversely, a site from the culvert outflow to the Explosive
Storage Sedimentation Pond established a three to four
degree dip. This 15 degree change in drainage ditch
inclination emphasizes the need for sediment trap
maintenance until the lateral collector ditch ceases to
transport significant clastic debris.
Thank you for the opportunity to be of service.
Respectfully submitted,
~y~t-mac ? ~"'".'"".~`'~
Eug~e M.
