Berms will be constructed to minimize erosion of the dumps. <br />The areas will be mulched, fertilized and seeded. <br />Because the extent of natural revegetation which has been observed on <br />the old mine dumps and adjacent distrubad area it is beliaved that once <br />reclamation has started many of the natural species will reestablish them- <br />selves, particularly on the perimeters. <br />Seed Mix: <br />Mountain Brome grass 27.0 lb/acre <br />Pubescent Wheatgrass 8.5 lb/acre <br />Timothy O.j lb/acre <br />36.0 Ib/acre <br />The seed shall be mulched with 4,000 lb/acre straw or native grass hay. <br />Engleman spruce, ponderosa pine or lodgepole pine se_dlings will be planted <br />on 10 foot centers on the terraces. <br />Fertilizer requirements will be determine3 by soils testing at the <br />time of reclamation. <br />
