INC. <br />~VR..NOO•COIORTOO <br />illy V -,~, 1 ~JG~ <br />MAY DAY - IDAHO MINE <br />Exhibit D - Wildlife, Water Resources, Vegetation and Soils <br />Colo Dep( o. reatu~al IIe7JUl u.• <br />Wildlife: A wildlife statement from the Colorado Division of Wildlife <br />is attached. <br />Water Resources: A small intermittent stream flows down Little Deadwood <br />Gulch through the permit area at 2 Level. <br />The stream crossing is presently a riprapped channel. <br />This crossing will be replaced with a 48 inch CMP culvert. <br />Mining water requirements will be met with water in the workings. A <br />water right application filed on the mine water is attached. <br />A copy of the NPDES permit is attached. At present it appears unlikely <br />that arky treatment of the water will be required. In the event treatment <br />becomes necessary, a technical revision will be submitted. <br />A minor quantity of water seeps from the Lamb and ~1 Level portals. <br />This water seeps into the esisting waste dumps. No water has been observed <br />surfacing below the waste dumps. <br />Vegetation: A vegetation s`,udy is attached. <br />Soils: A minor quantity of soils exists in the work areas. Soils <br />statement attached (IISDA-Soil Conservation Service . <br />
