6.4.19 EXHIBIT S -Permanent Man-Made Structures
The mining operation will not adversely affect the stability of any significant, valuable or
permanent man-made structures located within two hundred (200) feet of the affected
land.
The permanent man-made structures located within or adjacent to a line drawn two
hundred (200) feet from the affected land are:
1. A fence and gate located along the township line owned by the Applicant.
2. A private road owned by the application.
These structures are depicted on the mining plan map.
An Engineering Evaluation is provided for the structures.
Engineering Evaluation
Mining cannot be performed within 200-feet of a structure unless an engineering
evaluation is made that demonstrates the structures will not be damaged by the
proposed operation.
Encana Oil & Gas (USA), Inc. owns a fence and gate that secure the property to the
south and the private road to the north.
I, J. E. Stover, P.E., have a wide variety of experience in design and construction
activities including evaluation of the stability of cut and fill slopes which is applicable to
gravel pit activities.
Based upon my evaluation of the proposed operation, it is my professional opinion the
structures adjacent to the pit access road will not be damaged b~e anion because
there will not be an excavation to create an unstable slope ad ~he~tl~;~~es or the
private road. ;o`'e ~~,5 `- lo;o~o•
!'~V ~ c. ..n• e
J G C
. !~ _
~ ~G/
Jame E.
