Equipment will be fueled
and serviced as required by a mobile service truck. A mobile (tire mounted) fuel tank will
be utilized during peak mining activity.
If hazardous materials/petroleum products are stored on site they will be placed in a
containment designed for the purpose of providing primary containment of spills.
A reportable spill is a spill of any toxic or hazardous substance (including spills of
petroleum products) within the permit area reportable to any Division of the Colorado
Department of Public Health and the Environment, the national Response Center, the
Colorado Emergency Planning Commission, a local Emergency Planning Commission,
or the State Oil Inspector.
