<br />ATtACHMENT NUMBER ONE <br />of <br />EXHIBIT E <br />i <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />GEIJERAL SPECIFICATIONS OF THE RECLA7;ATIOIJ PLAN <br />I. Reclamation Factors <br />P.. Prescribed reclamation will be performed and completed in prescribed <br />stages, on portions of the site at such periodic times as determined <br />and prescribed by the AO or AOR during excavation of mineral material <br />and upon abandonment by the operator. <br />B. Reclamation terms of this permit will be complied with and remain in <br />f~ffect until released by Lhe Authorized Officer. These terms would <br />remain in effect until reclamation is determined satisfactory and <br />~:ould continue for two (2) or more years after notice of reclamation <br />leas been filed and the "notice" accepted. <br />C, pll disturbed areas will be reseeded as directed by the AO or AOR. <br />Adequate vegetative cover will be established as determined through <br />ocular reconnasense soil testing, vegetative density guides, etc. The <br />entire site that is disturbed shall be reclaimed upon discontinued use <br />of the site by covering the surface with seedable topsoil, eliminating <br />any extremely rocky surface, hauling in top soil if necessary, <br />constructing any necessary water diversions, and seeding. The <br />following seed will be used at the specified drilled rates (two (21 <br />times the rate if broadcast): <br />SEE ATTACHMENT NUt4BER TUO OF EXHIBIT E. <br />Other seed mixtures and rates may be required by AO or AOR or approved <br />if timely requested by the operator. <br />D, Operator agrees to blade and waterbar the access road and contour, <br />ditch, or dike the disturbed operation area if requested by AO or AOR <br />to do so; during excavation of mineral material and upon discontinued <br />use of the site whether temporarily or permanently closed. <br />E, At the end of removal, all unconsolidated precipices created by <br />operations will, to the extent possible, be pulled to a slope of not <br />less than 5:1 unless otherwise directed by the AO or AOR, <br />F. Upon commencement of reclamation, the site will be protected from <br />surface disturbance, including grazing. If fenced, this fence shall <br />be maintained and kept intact (minimum of two (2) years) until <br />reclamation work has been established and approved and released by the <br />AO or AOR. You will be given thirty (30) days to remove the fence <br />upon receipt of the letter of release. <br />G. The Operator must notify the AO or AOR forty eight (48) hours prior to <br />the date rehabilitation operations i~:ill commence and again when <br />reclamation operations have been completed. <br />-19- <br />
