A corporate surety bond agreement <br />form is enclosed. <br /> <br />I have reviewed this application for adequacy and have the following <br />questions/comments which are intended to aid you in bring:Lng this ap- <br />plication into full compliance with the State law and to 1=he satisfac- <br />tion of the Mined Land Reclamation Board. Please address the following <br />items in detail. Upon an adequate response to these item:> and submit- <br />tal of the above items, the permit for this operation will be issued: <br />EXHIBIT B - Mining Plan & Map ' <br />1) The submitted map does not adequately deliniate the proposed <br />permit boundaries for this operation. We appreciate 'the additional <br />information regarding future operations as it aids in development <br />of a workable regional reclamation plan. However, the staff must <br />review this application on its own merits and not as a phase of <br />later expanded operations. <br />Please submit a map which clearly delineates the proposed permit <br />area for this operation. Show the direction of mining and all <br />access & haul roads and the active channel of Coal Creek. <br />2) In areas where topsoil is absent or is too shallow to be stripped, <br />any overburden suitable for plant growth should be stripped and <br />stockpiled for later use in reclamation. <br />3) Why is a diversion to divert runoff around the Phase I working pit <br />not being constructed? <br />David C.
