• Bedrock Mater Level/Sample Wells - There are 3 BLS wells, all located at <br />or near the mine. They are: <br />79-1 - SW corner of overburden stockpile (overburden) <br />79-2 - NW corner of overburden stockpile (overburden) <br />79-61 - Just N. of Bush Draw (Sudduth coal seam aquifer) <br />Each of the wells is to be visited twice per year; once in April and <br />once in October. Each time the wells are visited, the following field <br />data should be collected and recorded on a Ground Water Field Data form. <br />• If water is present <br />- Well no. <br />- Oate <br />- Time <br />• - Sample bottle no. and analysis type (for lab samples - see <br />below) <br />- Water level <br />- Temperature <br />- pH <br />- E.C. <br />- Note any comments; unusual circumstance, ice in well, <br />problems sampling, damage to well or maintenance necessary <br />- Initials <br />- Collect lab samples <br />April and October - Collect one 500 ml raw (lab to <br />filter) sample and one 500 ml raw (lab to filter and <br />acidify) sample <br />Record on each sample bottle the following information <br />(use labels); <br />- Well no. <br />- Date <br />Bottle no. (of your choice) <br />23-185 <br />
