III I'!'lII„IIII III Doc Date:12/11/2001
sss
• s~E
~~ 2.04.11 Fish and Wildlife Resources Information ~/
The main species of big gems animals on the permit ars• and
adjacent areas are mule deer, black bear, mountain lion and •lk.
Small gams in the are• are cottontail rabbit and turkey. There
are no known eagles in the area. The area could bs a prime
habitat for all migatory birds, but the lack of large open
waters would restrict large concentrations of waterfoulda. There
are no threatened or endangered species in the area. Due to the
smell size of the proposed operation, end the comments of the
District Wildlife Manegs in Trinidad, it is expected that this
operation will have little impact on the wildlife resources of
• the area.
The comments of Mr. James Aragon, District Wildlife Manager
- Trinidad East, may bs seen in Exhibit I.
•
