Cook and Raley: <br />This is formal notice of the action taken by the Mined Land Reclamation <br />Board on the above-referenced applications at their February 23, 1978 <br />meeting. The additional information submitted by P1r. Raley in response <br />to my memo of February 10, 1978 met the adequacy requirements of [}Te <br />Rules and Regulations. Tl~e Board unanimously approved the applications <br />and asked me to express their gratitude and appreciation for all the <br />efforts put forth by Rio Blanco County in bringing the operations into <br />compliance with the law. T1Tis applies especially to you and Mr. Raley, <br />whose cooperation and patience was much appreciated by the staff. <br />Although you have submitted a letter which states that your county has <br />established a reclamation fund in the budget, the At COrney General's <br />Assistant desires that all counties submit a formal resolution to that <br />effect. I have enclosed a sample format for such a document which is <br />acceptable to the Clined Land Reclamation Board. <br />Thank you again for your diligent efforts and t1Te courtesy extended me by <br />you and your staff.
