Because reclamation will be undertaken concurrently
with the mining operations, an annual estimate of reclama-
tion costs is difficult to provide because mining operations
will be dependent upon demand for the gravel. However, best
estimates indicatie approximately $5,000.00 of reclamation
work will be undertaken each year. This is based on the
costs of reclamation of areas which were disturbed prior
to commencement of Headley operations. Sloping of the pit
areas is usually done as the work progresses, taking approxi-
mately one hour of clean up for every four hours caork. As
previously noted, a paddle scrapper is used to level the land
for agricultural purposes and costs are based on hourly rates
for such paddle scrappers.
