The owner has agreed to provide weed control and stocking of <br />the ponds. <br />Also that part that will not be involved in the mining operations <br />will continue to be planted in field crop. <br />- It is the desire of tl~e owners of the land and minerals that the <br />area be preserved in the above maner. <br />RECLAMATION STANDARDS <br />Reclamation shall conform cahere applicable to the Weld County stoning <br />Regulations and to the full provisions of the Colorado Open Mining <br />Land Reclamation Act of 1976. This is a dredge operation in a wet <br />pit, and the proper slope will be maintained by placing waste fines <br />back in the water and shaping the banks as operations proceed. The <br />banks of the ponds will have a slope of not less that 2:1. Between <br />the ponds and property lines there will be a green belt area. <br />• <br />• <br />Revegatation of the disturbed bank areas will be accomplished in the <br />following manner: Topsoil accumulated along the ponds will be <br />reapplied to the area to be seeded to a depth of six to twelve inches. <br />Seeding will be done in March or April unless irrigation water is to <br />be used. The seedmix will be drilled with a grassland drill equiped <br />with depth bands, seedbox agitator and packer wheels. <br /> <br />
