I <br />• EXHIBIT D •, ; ~~~~ <br />MINING PLAN ~.;.... __,... ~: ,...._.~', ~.:.,~_:C.S <br />Paining operations will be conducted by first stripping the area with <br />dragline, loaders, dozers, and other conventional earth-moving <br />equipment. Dredging ponds will be opened initially by use of draglines <br />to obtain floating area for dredge. Dredging will be conducted with <br />six to eight inch conventional gravel dredge presently owned or to <br />be purchased. Screens, bins and dewatering equipment will be located <br />on shore-side facilities. All waste water or processing water will <br />be returned [o the dredge pond. All material dredged and excavated <br />will be used in the production of the mining operation so that There <br />will be no waste products generated from the dredging operation. <br />During the years 1977-1981, 10 acres will be worked. During th~° years <br />1981-1984, 8 acres will be worked. During the years 1984-1987, 9 <br />acres will be worked. <br />~ , <br />No excavation shall be permitted within ten feet of any boundar}~ line. <br />The extraction area will be fenced and enclosed as required by N~eld <br />County. <br />MINING TIMETABLE <br />• Phase 1 will begin in 1477, starting of the ten acre pond. <br />Phase 2 will begin in 1981, starting of the eight acre pond. <br />Phase 3 will begin in 1984, starting of the nine acre pond. <br />Completion date is estimated to be 1987. <br />EXHIBIT E <br />RECLAMATION PLAN <br />The reclaimed land will be used as private fishing ponds and as :in <br />area for ducks and other waterfowl to land. Reclamation will be three <br />ponds, the Easterly one, ten acres, the Southerly one, eight acrE~s, <br />the Sdesterly one, nine acres. The ponds will have a sloped bank of <br />not less than 2:1. They will have a depth of approximately thirty <br />feet. The area of the banks and between ponds will be restored. <br />Preservation shall be made of existing trees and vegatation along the <br />Cache La Poudre River, so as to preserve that area for cover and wild= <br />life use. Total affected land area is thirty acres more or less. <br /> The area to be reclaimed is just South of County Road 64, and is <br /> divided into two parts by the Cache La Poudre River. The area <br />• proposed to be dredged is within [wo miles of Greeley, and can be <br />
