Stover and Associates <br />2768 Compass Drive, Suite 101 <br />Grand Junction, CO 81506 <br />Re: Iron Point Coal Exporation License Wildlife Inventory <br />Dear Jim: - <br />Following is a summary of the wildl'de survey work we have done on the Iron Point Coal <br />• Exploration License EIS approved drill holes and the Freeman Gulch gob vent holes. <br />The legal descriptions for the area we surveyed are: <br />Freeman Gulch Area <br />T.13S., R.91W., 6w P.M. <br />Section 2: W712 <br />Section 3: All except NW114 NW114 <br />Section 4: SE114, SE114 NE114 <br />Section 9: NE714 NEtl4 <br />Section 10: N112 <br />Section 11: NW714 NW114 <br />Iron Point Exploration License Area <br />T.12S., R.91W., 6"~ P.M. <br />Section 33: S112 except SW114 SW114; S112 NE114, SW114 NW114 <br />Section 34: All except N112 N112 <br />Section 35: W 1l2 <br />Survey methods were performed by observation of wildl'de activities, including aerial flights <br />and birdcalls. Inspections of habitat types known for the various species were made, in <br />. addition to looking for whitewash in the cliffs and rocky outcrops and kwking for new and <br />~ r<-~ ~ <br />
