<br />Tezak Pit Overview <br />The Pit is located approximately 4 miles west of Texas Creek. <br />The Pit will be mined by Contractor's personnel for a Highway <br />Project and the Jct. of SH 69 & U.S. 50. <br />There will be 6" of topsoil removed and stockpiled. There also <br />will be approximately 6" of overburden removed and stockpiled. <br />There will be approximately 5,000 tons of gravel and rock removed <br />to be crushed. <br />At the completion of the crushing operation and hot plant operation, <br />the overburden will be placed over the affected area, the topsoil <br />will be placed over the affected area to a depth of 6". Then the <br />Contractor will be required to re-seed the area and fertilize <br />according to the seeding plan submitted in the Reclamation Plan. <br />The vegetation cover of the pit area is sparse. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
