Loy e, Sr. Reclamation <br />Specialist <br />Pursuant to the requirement of the Colorado Mined Reclamation Act* <br />to inform counties and c'e'rtain municipalities of Development and Extraction <br />(i.e. mining) Permit applications filed with this office, please know that <br />Federal Resources Corporation' has filed an <br />application for a Pe:^mit to do underground metals mining <br />at the following Zeg.iZ description: A11 9 quarters of Section 22, T43N, <br />R8W of the N. M. P. ,'N., Ou ray County, Colorado <br />hli Wing, milling, wildlife <br />The applicant proposes to reclaim the site for ti r Pa inn .~'he <br />deadline for persons to file statements regarding this operation, or to <br />petition for a hearing before the Mined Land Reclamation Board to consider <br />the granting of a Permit is set by law; for information please call this <br />office. <br />Prior to Board approval the applicant's proposed mining and reclamation <br />plans must be in conformance with Zoca1 zoning ordinances, subdivision <br />regulations, or master plan. Pursuant to Sections 34-32-109(6) and <br />34-32-IIS(e) of the eolorado Mined Land Reclamation Act, C.R.S. 34-32-IOI <br />et sect., please inform the Mined Land Reclamation Division as to the status <br />of the above captioned site with regard to conformance with your local <br />zoning Laws. The attached sheet is provided so that you might answer us in <br />a convenient, quick manner. <br />If we do not hear from you before July 21, 1982 we wiZZ assume <br />that the above mining operation is in conformance with local zoning and land <br />use. <br />Also, the applicant is required to place a copy of the application for public <br />inspection with the <:Zerk of the county in which the proposed mine is situated. <br />It is the Board's understanding that the Act intends for the application to <br />be made available fo:: public review and comment in an area close to the mine; <br />it is not intended that it be made a part of public record by recording. <br />The Board is tentatively scheduled to consider this application on <br />Julu 21-22, 1982 <br />We appreciate your cooperation in this matter and will be happy to answer any <br />questions. <br />Sincerely, <br />Saninr Aarlama hinn .S y,ClaliSt <br />*Article 32 of Title 34, Colorado Revised Statutes 1973, as amended. <br />Rev. 2/10 <br />423 Centennial Building, 1313 Sherman Street Denver.
