The treatment facility will contain millions of gallons of raw and partially treated
sewage in concrete tanks located partially underground. The plant wi[I also store, contain and
use potentially hazazdous chemicals. The plant also consists of a great deal of underground
piping and conduit with connectors to buildings and tanks. These facilities were not designed
with neazby blasting and heary equipment earthwork in mind.
We have also been made aware that the plans is constructed neaz a geologic fault that, if
disturbed, could cause great damage [o the plant and downstream water users.
Finally, Highway 119 traffic, access and egress from and to the plant site for delivery
trucks and sludge hauling vehicles is already a concern. The addition of gravel hauling trucks
and equipment may create serious traffic hazards and delays.
In order to address these issues, please provide us with:
a. Any and all geologic studies concerning your proposed operation; the geologic
conditions in the azea and potential effects on surrounding properties;
b. Any projected operating information including size and type of equipment needed
and projected need for the use of explosives and earth moving equipment; and
7400 E Orscrwa Rono • ScrrE 3300 • Gaeemvooo VnrACa, CO SDl 11 • 303-770-2700 • Fnx 303-770-2701 • svw~svwpccom
Exhibit D
