<br />Public Notice of Permit Revision
<br />Empire Energy Corporation, Eagle Mines, P.O. Box 68, Craig, Colorado,
<br />81625, Phone (303) 824-8246, has filed with the Colorado Mined Land
<br />Reclamation Division, an application for a permit revision to mining
<br />permit C-81-044. Mining permit C-81-044 was approved by the Colorado
<br />Mined Land Reclamation Board August, 1983.
<br />The permit revision would allow the underground mining by longwall
<br />mining methods of the "E" Coal Seam, which would be named the No. 6
<br />Mine. The "E" Coal Seam is located approximately 80 feet below the "F"
<br />Coal Seam. The "F" Coal Seam is currently being mined by longwall
<br />mining methods in the No. 5 Mine. The permit revision would also
<br />involve a permit boundary change as described as follows:
<br />• A parcel of land located in portions of T6N,R91W; T6N,R92W;
<br />T5N,R92W; and T5N,R91W of the Colorado 6th Prime Meridian. More
<br />specifically described as follows:
