Content of the letter, such was a copy of the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Permit Application form and request to the Fremont SCD for comments regarding the proposed post-mining land use. I have reviewed the Reclamation Permit and Application forms, I have also reviewed the proposed reclamation plan as was prepared for Fremont County by Rick Romano (SCS), dated 8/4/93. I offer the following Comments: 1. The proposed post-mining land use to Wildlife Habitat is well in keeping with ad,iacent existing land use in the area. 2. The proposed Reclamation Plan (8/4/93) appears adequate to guide steps for successful revegetation of the post-mined site. 3. In regard to control of noxious weeds, I suggest yearly inspection of the revegetated site for several years (in late Spring) to check for the possible presence of noxious weeds. Diffuse Knapweed plants have been found along the Copper Gulch road, a few miles away.
